In case you haven’t noticed, recently Ely and I have been tinkering with the Side panel code, and tossing around a few ideas. We’ve decided to sort the Anime Series Categories first by season, and then by name.
We hope this wont make things too complicated, but we thought that this would allow us to indicate seasons AND at the same time let people quickly see what shows a season has.
I’ve also added a “link me page” which gives some information about how to get a link to your site/blog on this site.
With the Christmas holiday season well and truely over, hopefully I can get back into blogging my usual shows, and with any luck, Cal’s evil ISP will decide to let her have her internet back.
Thanks alot to Ely for his posts, he is one of our newest writers and joined the blog at the begining of the year. Remember that Manganime is an open blog, and we welcome artical submissions from our visitors (reviews, blog’d eps, thoughts, send it in and we’ll take a look). If you are interested in being a staff member of UM, then let me know at manganime@animeblogger.com. All we ask is a passion for anime and good written / descriptive skills. There is no set writing requirement and if you are a staff member, you contribute if and when you want too.
For those interested, we are now up to about 19,000 unique hits (72,000 in total), and it has been about 4 months since we started counting ^^. Our most hit page is the Kashimashi Girl Meets Girl category with 3,000 hits (I guess there must be a lot of people our there that like Yuri anime)! We currently have 178 posts, 300 comments and 9 staff writers. The 2005 Winter Wiki has had 4,500 hits, and despite having only been up a few days, the 2006 Spring Wiki has had 1,117 visits.
