The most offensive part about this show is the sheer amount of boring. It’s just like Canvas, except instead of being a boring romance about a Guy and his kid sister/cousin, its about a bunch of boys at an all boys school (at least thats where i assume its going). Either way, boring as tofu on a stick.

Ahh, I did warn you fairly.
But I like the synchro. It shows all of you did suffer a lot. Ok, I at least have the advantage of liking yaoi. It doesn’t help a lot, but makes the impact less painfull.
So, are you doing ep 2?

who knows… at the moment its a toss up between kashimashi, soul link, love get chu, this and strawberry panic… (/me wonders why do many of them are yuri or yaoi)

Because when you have the yaoi/yuri element working for you, you no longer need to bother to come up with a plot that makes any sense.

The funny thing about Gakuen Heaven and Strawberry Panic is how much they resemble each other (and many other shows, I suspect). I guess yaoi/yuri and originality don’t go well together.

Wow, the sad truth is (after having seen so many yaoi shows) that “yaoi” does seem to be equal to “plotless”. I feel offended sometimes as a fan, since the yaoi creators seem to consider yaoi-fans have the IQ of a chewing cow. That is why I prefer manga. It is much much better. And quite often, it even has plot. My, oh, my.
Still there’s one exception anomg anime - Loveless and I won’t lose hope another one will appear someday. But that is not Gakuen Heaven for sure.

I don’t know about yaoi (incidentally, I’ve seen Loveles and it was really good) but there are some good shoujo ai shows out there. This does not stop Strawberry Panic from shamelessly ripping off left and right >.

Anyway, it’s likely that we will synchro Gakuen Heaven ep 2 this Saturday, starting from at 8.30 PM GMT. Add Kashimashi ep 9 and Strawberry Panic 4 for what might be the most shounen/shoujo ai combo yet.
(Oh, and we will do some Soul Link too. Ah, the happiness…)

Hmmm… what makes you think I (I guess any of us, really) want to watch an episode of Gakuen Heaven TWICE?
My doing that for the first episode was painful enough.
But maybe expecting the worst will help with the surprise part ^^;;
