Setting aside the fact that the ending to Magikano was an absolutely travesty, it was a pretty good series. But I’m not here to talk about it, am I? No, today we’re talking about Touka Gettan, a series that seems to me to be very similar to Fate/Stay Night, except that it confuses me more and has more sex involved. Hm.

Touka Gettan stars the eponymous Touka, a character so androgynous that I thought he was a girl until I was nearly done with the second episode. Speaking of which, I should probably summarize the first two episodes real quick, so that this post makes some sense. This is complicated somewhat by the fact that I really don’t know what happened in the first two episodes. Here’s what I remember of them, organized nicely into bullet points:

• Touka talks with his mom on the phone, possibly for the first time.
• Touka has some flower-sword-thing inside his torso. I think it was called the Crystal Sword.
• Some bizarre ceremony thing happens…
• But not before a massive food fight.
• Touka runs into some girl named Momoka and they kiss.
• Pretty much everyone seems to be someone else, only reincarnated.
• A bunch of people disappeared during the ceremony thing.

So um, yeah. On to the now. […]

I recently started trying to get through some of the series i havent watched yet, and this led me to watch the first episode of Grenadier, which then drove me to post about the first episode (at 2am in the morning).

On a whim, I downloaded Bokura ga Ita. I watched both the downloaded episodes in one go. [For screencaps and verdict, follow the “Read the rest” link!]

There’s no real purpose to this special–at least, none that I can see. It’s just an entertaining special (and I can’t even figure out what the occasion is). There is some very nice eyecandy in the end, though. ^_^

Starting from a Soul Link synchro and a post on doinkies’ lj, I wanted to see if there really are people out there who actually like Soul Link and Glass Fleet. I found someone suitably impressed with Glass Fleet >.>, but no crazy Soul Link wuv. Nevertheless Willuknight asked me to post this here too, so here it is.
